Der „warm“ Modus klingt am interessantesten. Generell liebe ich den analogen Klang von alten Geräten. Ich würde mich riesig über den Gewinn freuen. Dann lasse ich da alles durchschleifen 😃😉

Warm Mode Klingt sehr interessant aber ich würde erstmal alles durchjagen und ausprobieren. Kann mir auch gut vorstellen das der Drum Bus dadurch nochmal viel mehr analoge Energie bekommt 😍 und als Letzte Instanz dann auf dem Master natürlich 😊

Echt beeindruckend wieviele Features das Gerät hat. Fast wie ein Plugin, aber Analog🤩 mich interessiert der GR limiter sehr, bestimmt super praktisch, kenne ich bisher nur vom HOFA Compressor Plugin.
Denn GRL haben wir 2007 beim mpressor erfunden
Love the clean compression and flexibility on my master bus. And the Gain Reduction Limiter. I am use the GRL often for in your face for Rap Vocals and speakers in advertising projects for TV and radio. This gear is the cheapest comp in my chain, but the last one that I would give away 🙂

Die komplette Firmenpolitik von Elysia ist sehr sympathisch. Ich konnte mich auf der Studio Szene in Hamburg davon überzeugen. Der Xpressor ist super interessant als Stereokompressor. Grade die negativ Ratios bringen nochmal ganz andere Möglichkeiten was die Krearivität angeht. Und der Gainreduktion Limiter ist genial, hier kann ich die Kompression nochmal beschränken auf einen festen Wert. Sehr geile Kiste auf jeden Fall.

The Auto fast function and the Warm Mode are really special Futures the Transparency and responce of the classic Expressor was allready more then stunning. I would love to try the Expressor Neo in my setup!

Der Logarithmische Release kurz Log Modus ist einzigartig…zb Drums kurze laute Pegel spitzen haben einen schnelleren Release wogegen der Rest mit langsameren releasen bearbeitet wird…das macht es zb für Stereo Mastering sehr interessant und brauchbar

Elysia ist grundsätzlich mein Lieblingshersteller was 500 Format betrifft. Ich kenn kein flexibleren Stereo comp in dem Format. Find den Warm Modus sehr spannend

Für mich sind auch die „warm“ Einstellung und der GR Limiter sehr interessant. Sollte ich das Glück haben und gewinnen läuft wohl ausnahmslos alles durch dieses Schmuckstück. 😅

Der xpressor neo ist zu 100% analog und ist sehr transparent, d.h. er hat keine starke Eigenfärbung. Außerdem leuchtet das Elysia Logo beim Einschalten langsam auf, ein wichtiges und nettes Feature fürs Auge!:)

Definitiv der warm Mode
Neben dem “dezenten” aber edlen Grundsound von Elysia, den ich in Online-Videos immer wahrnehme, (also subjektiv gesehen gar nicht so dezent wie viele immer meinen – halt nur nicht so Low-Mid lästig wie manches Gerät der Konkurrenz) schätze ich die Vielseitigkeit und Qualität des Gesamtpakets. Deutsche Ingenieurskunst in Verarbeitung und Formfaktor erfreuen mich mit meinem Background im Maschinenbau (fast) genauso wie die flexible Soundgestaltung. Meine Highlights sind der Warm Modus für ein musikalisches smoothing der Transienten auf dem Mixbus bei digitalen Produktionen, Log Release für Movement in parallel und GR Limit für den Drumbus, um in Verbindung mit dem Mix Regler noch kontrollierter zu “smashen” ohne dabei komplett in’s Material reinfahren zu müssen. Dazu noch Program-Adaptive Attack Zeiten. Viel mehr geht kaum….

Neben der großen Flexibilität des Units schätze ich die parallele Schaltung sehr. So kann man sehr transparent den Druck erhöhen und läuft nicht Gefahr über zu komprimieren.

I love that the SCF goes up to 1Khz. That you have ♾️ Ratio settings for limiting and negative settings to experiment. From the Masterclass we had a few months back, I noticed how well it brings the mix forward and the ability to be beautifully abrasive or gentle. Its truly unique.
I’m looking to donate one to an ADHD/Autism Music school we have here in London. I know they’d make good use of it as some of them are fans of Elysia. Great stuff!

Die Flexibilität und klangliche Transparenz, die Elysia generell auszeichnet. Hier finde ich speziell den Warm Mode interessant, der meine In-the-Box-Produktionen deutlich aufwerten kann. Die optische Eleganz und tadellose Verarbeitung müssen gar nicht erwähnt werden. 😀

For someone who tries to get the most out of his equipment at home, that WARM feature with the xpressor|neo on my 2 buss would make any mastering engineer working in records I mixed happy.
We have an emerging genre from South Africa called amapiano, and man oh man this compressor on the 2buss is something I need to witness in this lifetime on that genre. What a beaut.

I tried the Xpressor in a Studio here in Miami. What I love the most is the Warm mode, the Mix knob and the Side Chain Filter 🔥🔥🔥
The sound. Everything that I’ve heard through the xpressor just sounds better: more oomph, clarity and depth…the difference between the before and after is hard to explain but is certainly easy to hear. The deep feature set is equally impressive. With the switchable release curves, negative ratio, and gain reduction range, xpressor offers considerable power for creative dynamics shaping.
